What is Utopianism?
November 16, 2009 by ashlyn1
Utopia comes from two Greek words-topos, meaning place, but the prefix may mean good or nonexistent. So Utopia means both ” the good place” and “nowhere”. It is not scriptural.
Although Utopia as a literary genre did not emerge till Thomas More popularized the form, the philosophy has flourished throughout History. (e.g. tower of Babel).
Four basic tenants of Utopianism have lured our government away from it’s original Christian foundations.
